Has anyone heard of a multilevel marketing company that sell a plan to prevent identity theft?

My daughter answered an online ad for this, but she didn’t follow up with it because the people were really "hard sell" types, and she didn’t feel right about it. Plus,, it sounded like they wanted money up front to start the business.
