He was told that a Mortgage company was going to to use his credit to buy some old houses and repair them to be sold a year later. My dad would recieve an amount of money for doing this favor. My dad didnt speak English so he basically he didnt know what he was doing. A year later we started recieving all this phone calls from three mortgage companies "This is an important call, please contact..." We never thought it was related to what my dad did a year back, but one day I called in and they told us we were not paying the mortgage dues. My dad was always careful with makeing payments on time, so we thought it was a mistake. We ran a credit check report and we found out my dad owed $854,212 to three different mortgage companies.
